Nervous System Coaching

Coaching sessions are offered at both 45 and 60 minutes. They are structured to increase awareness, management, and regulation of the nervous system. Strategies are informed by The Polyvagal Theory and are delivered through psychoeducation, components of parts work, listening interventions, and resourcing.

Individual Therapy

Virtual and in person sessions are scheduled for 55 minutes. A link is provided in a secure modality to protect your privacy and confidentiality. The work will be guided by what works best for you and a pace set that allows you to feel safe and empowered.

Safe and Sound Protocol

The Safe and Sound protocol is a listening intervention that focuses on reattuning our nervous system to cues of safety. How do we find the creator within? How do we find the freedom from our narratives to rewrite our stories? The impacts of events that left us feeling overwhelmed, alone, and powerless become the pen that writes the script of how we will survive and find acceptance in our “tribe”. Oftentimes when we reflect on these events, rather than releasing them, we end up solidifying why we are the way we are - leaving another layer of ink on our written narrative. When we are ready, we can learn strategies and techniques that allow us to unpack the impact of events to free ourselves from shame and fear by identifying accurate information that turns our critic into compassion, our insecurity into assurance of our worth, and our values into healthy boundaries. Nervous System Life Coaching
Our nervous system acts as a constant, subconscious radar, tirelessly managing cues of safety and danger to ensure our survival. This vigilance activates well-known survival states like fight, flight, freeze, and fawn in real time. These states can also be triggered by our focus on past memories and imagined future events—essentially, our imagination can create anxiety or even panic attacks. We can, however, harness this same power of imagination to reinforce states of rest, restoration, and relaxation by focusing on safe and peaceful memories or places. This practice of strengthening neural pathways for safety is called resourcing. As we consistently practice resourcing, calm states become more accessible, positively impacting our ability to regulate our emotions and making our nervous system more resilient. Other ways to support the nervous system can be found in reattuning the nervous system’s cues of safety and danger through listening interventions. The Safe and Sound Protocol and Rest and Restore Protocol each provide 5 hours of listening interventions that reattune the nervous system to cues of safety that impact our sense of safety in interpersonal relationships and assist our system in the processes of rest and repair which supports gut health and better sleep.
